Each and every day brings something new
but today
today my life changed
for today is the day I awoke
to find the sunlight on my bed
and a smile in my heart
how wonderful I feel
to have found such a gift
in such a beautiful wrapper
and tomorrow will come
for my gift, my treasure
shall smile upon me
and my soul will laugh
the laugh of a young child
finding his feet for the first time
how very lucky
lucky to have found you
and I search no more
for mein schatz will be home
