What is Reflection
an old poem about hearts and desires
or the hard truths about finding love
and it possibly slipping away
yet here I am
smiling for days on end
they feel like many but
we know they are just yesterday and today
Again, what is Reflection
well must I say that
reflection is knowing as you said
when I am near there are no cracks to fill in
and feels like there never were
you also smiling for days on end
which we know will be many
and many many more to come our way
So Reflection
I was told it would be there
one to present herself with an open heart
to my surprise and delight
for you are real and presented yourself this day
holding my heart as promised
with no falling and no panic
just the joy of happiness
without fear or worry of it slipping away
never to be taken lightly
as I also hold yours this day
with a promise for the many
many, many more coming our way
